  Bill Howden
   
  William “Bill” Howden has more than 16 years of experience in managing large facility capital, real estate and operations projects. He currently manages the Facility Planning and Construction Department at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, a HealthPartners family hospital. In 2013, IFMA awarded Regions Hospital with its Exceptional New Building Award. Bill also has been recognized with a Facility Practitioner of the Year award in Minnesota.

Bill has practiced real estate as a licensed professional, earned two degrees including architectural studies and facilities management, and is finishing up his duel executive master’s degree in real estate and construction. He is also certified in Healthcare Facilities Planning and Design, Facility Management, and Data Center Design and Operations.

In addition, he has served on the IFMA Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter’s board as co-chair of programs, vice president and president, among other roles. Bill also founded and served as president for the regional HCI Midwest council, which provides local healthcare professionals access to HCI education and national seminars.

Bill notes that he has a passion for serving as an advocate for education and working to advance healthcare facilities and design in a constantly improving healthcare industry.
