Prior to joining JLL, Fred was Johnson Controlsí Director
of Facility Services for Phoenix Childrenís Hospital. In addition to
responsibility for the care and maintenance of the hospitalís buildings
throughout the state of Arizona, Fred also managed construction and
renovation below $1MM, within completed buildings. He was directly
involved in Phoenix Childrenís Hospitalís recently completed a $588MM
expansion, which takes the main campus to over 1.5 million square feet
and 495 licensed beds.
Fred has also served as Healthcare Facilities Management
Development Team Leader for Johnson Controls, providing technical and
managerial leadership in establishing facilities management and
operations and maintenance contracts in the healthcare vertical market.
As the Dean of the Facilities College at Sodexoís Corporate University
he developed an accredited curriculum for training and development of
Facilities Managers. He began his healthcare career in San Diego with
the Sharp Healthcare System.
Fred is a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager with
the American Hospital Association, a member of the American College of
Healthcare Executives, and a senior member of the American Society of
Healthcare Engineering. He is a founding member of the Central Arizona
Society for Healthcare Engineering and has served on its board for six
years, including two years as chapter president.
