New York City is the proud host
of a full day Summit co-hosted by IFMA Health Care Institute and
Corporate Realty, Design & Management Institute, to take place
on September 24. The day's events will address how to find
design, construction, operations, financial and real estate
solutions that raise performance, save money, and avoid risk.
The program chair for the Summit
will be IFMA HCI Board Member John D’Angelo, VP/Facilities
Operations at New York Presbyterian Hospital. In addition to
him, participants will have the chance to learn from senior
level executives and from members of the Joint Commission.
Sessions will address the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the new
environment of care standards, and on the latest changes in the
infection control regulations, among other nationwide topics.
Specific to New York, the Summit will address applying the
science and art of New York City demographics to the healthcare
arena and creating outpatient centers in New York City’s dense
The educational sessions will also offer up to seven CEU credits
for AIA (HSW), AHA (CHFM and CHESP hours), IFMA (CFM hours) and
Engineers (PDH hours).
