has more than 25 years of experience in facility engineering
within the medical, higher education, institutional, commercial,
and industrial sectors. He holds a BS. in Mechanical Engineering
from Louisiana Tech University.
Staley is a registered professional engineer in multiple states
and has spent the majority of his career as a consultant in the
energy services industry. His experience includes energy
consulting, design consulting, commissioning, sustainability,
energy procurement, facilities maintenance, HVAC construction,
and project management.
He is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Healthcare
Constructor, Certified Healthcare Facility Manager,
Commissioning Process Management Professional, Healthcare
Facility Design Professional, a LEEDŽ AP, and a Senior Member of
Tim began his career in the engineering department of a large
healthcare facility, resulting in a passion for owner advocacy
and energy efficiency that has lasted throughout his career.
Tim has served on the board of multiple commissioning
organizations, served on the board of the Arkansas Association
for Healthcare Engineers, chaired the ASHE Energy Management
Task Force, assisted with the ASHE Sustainability task force, is
a contributing author to the ASHE Healthcare Facility
Commissioning Handbook, serves as faculty for a number of ASHE
educational programs, and has provided expert witness testimony
in several utility rate cases. Tim is currently Vice President
of Viridian, Inc., a sustainability and energy services
consulting firm specializing in optimizing building performance.
