Feb. Webinar Presents Insight into How and Why of BIM Guidelines for Healthcare

  by Megan Headley | Jan 17, 2017

Facility managers seeking insight into developing and applying BIM guidelines to future healthcare projects may want to put this upcoming webinar on their calendar. CADD Microsystems is hosting an online Executive Briefing to share with healthcare owners and AEC firms insight into how Ohio State University and Carolinas Healthcare System are using BIM guidelines for their healthcare projects.

The event is being live broadcast on Wednesday, February 8, from noon-1:30 p.m.

The Ohio State University and Carolinas HealthCare System have published and use what many consider to be best-in-class BIM deliverable guidelines for healthcare owners. Through case studies shared by these institutions, healthcare facility operators will learn about not only the benefits these experts have seen to the entire building lifecycle, including operations and maintenance, but information to potentially include in your own BIM project requirements.

Event speakers include Joe Porostosky, director, Facilities Information and Technology Services, The Ohio State University; Meghan Ruffo, Contract BIM Manager, Carolinas Healthcare System; Chuck Mies, Ecosystem Business Development, Autodesk; and T.J. Meehan, vice president of Professional Services, CADD Microsystems. Porostosky, Ruffo and Mies are contributors to the Health Care Institute’s ongoing white paper series, A Guide to Applying BIM Data to Healthcare Operations & Maintenance.
